Gaming What's a good media player with media libraries?

Media Player 12 seems really glitchy to me, and the Zune Library really only works for formats the Zune accepts... I don't even own a Zune anymore...

Any suggestions?

in my experience:

best for vids: vlc, media player classic (combined community codecs)

best for music: winamp with dfx plugin

Please PLEASE dont recommend codec packs. Especially the K-Lite codec pack. Codec packs , this one in particular can cause tonnes of problems done the track

VLC is THE player for all media files, but yeah doesnt have a library

As long as you know what the hell you're doing, codec packs are a good thing. Just as long as you don't install part of it that might mess up or interfere with something else. Me, I just install a codec when I find myself with a format I can't use.

Well I never had a problem with K-lite. But for me, same as Joe88 Winamp + VLC + K-Lite Full

I like Winamp 5 a lot more than what 2 had to offer. The only real problem I have is it's media tagging. Disturbed - Perfect Insanity is not the same as Gary_Glitter - Do You Wanna Tuch.

I'm dead serious, that's what it came up with.

kmplayer has intergrated some type of media browser in their player. i recommend it for videos etc. winamp for audio.

VLC + K-Lite Full for vids

foobar is music. i switched from winamp to foobar cuz it loads faster and the can easily switch between folder structure and album/artist.
