I played a demo of Super Mario 3D Land on a demo unit and just thought, "meh" and continued to play with my DS Lite. Then I caved in a year later and bought a 3DS XL with Fire Emblem Awakening. Ironically, I ended up playing Mario 3D Land for over 25 hours when I bought it a month later.
