Tichinde, there's actually a shortcut..

You go to a channel, then press +, eventually, you'll reach HBC.

The method I shown is just a way to prevent kids from touching the hbc lol.

Maybe we can convince a programmer to add the option of a selectable password or button press combo to wad manager so once installed and set only people trusted by you to use it could add/remove stuff

and yes im bored and trying to take over as the most recent post in every topic, hehe

lol, I remember that now.

But what would stop them from doing it after they saw it being done?

The only way to password a channel is only done on firmware 3.2:

a) First setting a Parental Controls Password

b) Setting the channel so that it is set to a different region than the Wii currently is. (Use NEW VC INJECTOR for this. Do not use "Region Free" but have it be a different region.)

b) Then using starfall to region free all channels so that non-region specific channels could be used.

Then when you try to access a channel that is outside of your region, Parental Controls should come up asking you to input one.

Yeah, so far I've kept HBC on the last page and nobody's discovered it on their own. They're smart enough not to touch anything.

So, what I'm confused about is how to uninstall WADs whose WAD file is no longer in my /wads directory. Can I do that, or do I need to load the wad back onto the SD card to uninstall it from the Wii?

No, you can just uninstall it like a regular channel.
So in Wii Settings --> Channel Management.

yeah it's better to use the wad and uninstall it via wad manager uninstaller - on wiimote
or use data management but that doesn't remove the ticket etc..

Many have said that this doesn't remove the ticket and therefore doesn't uninstall it fully, hence using WAD Manager.

Neh, HBC is a completely different channel from those WADs.

Have you checked out the FAQ section in the HBC website?

I'm talking about removing the .wad channels, not the HBC.
