What should I ask for, for Christmas.

Don't mean to sound greedy or anything with this thread.

My choices are:

3DS XL (paying like $50 for this) or Wii U (I'm paying $180 of this)

Or should I get a used Ocarina of Time Edition 3DS (with no box), as I'm a huge LoZ fan.

Well, the 3DS has a larger library obviously, but the Wii U has some pretty good games so far as well. I'd say if you plan on playing more by yourself, and at home, get the Wii U. The 3DS has more multiplayer games, and is obviously made for portability.

It's a shame that it doesn't have the box anymore, but if you say you're a big fan, I'd say that it'd be a great addition to your collection!

Or ask for the Zelda 3DS for Santa, and get the Wii U for Christmas!

Well, the 3DS is extremely cheap for the Zelda one and I can just get a job next year and buy my own Wii U/3DS XL, thanks for ze help guys.

EDIT: Plus I'm also a huge Kingdom Hearts fan so there's DDD on the 3DS.

I say 3DS. It has a pretty pronounced library (especially compared to the Wii U), and who knows, maybe a Wii U sale will happen sometime next year, and there'll be more games.
