Hacking What other apps do I need or get??

I am new to the whole HomeBrew world but I have been able to mod my nphews Wii & got the following apps listed below. I am running a soft-modded with with the TH, HBC & Gamma v. 03 [3.2U f/w]

I want to see if I am missing anything I may need, I was trying to find out more about the Wiishop Channel & stuff. Should I get it? Also If i can connect online can I play against people online or will this mess up/brick my Wii? I may want to play Rockband online against other people or GHWT maybe. Thanks for any help
