Hello dudes,
I got an already modded wii and I cannot reach any more the installer so now I'm wondering what mod chip I've installed.

Can you give me your opinions if we know that the serial starts with : LEH1847 and it's a PAL.

I would not open my wii since I don't want get the risk to break it.

If I want to play SSBB and I don't update the mod firmware (in case it's a wiikey) is there a possible risk to brick the console or just it doesn't work, so no risks ?

Thanks a lot in advance.

You can just put in example the Wiikey update disc, it will just test the chip and if its wrong it will complain.

There's no risk if you just try to play PAL SSBB....

If you are running older than 3.2E and run the updater from US SSBB you may brick or semi-brick your wii.

If you have a wiikey and it is out of date and you try to play original PAL SSBB - worst case is the wii won't recognise the disc. There is no risk.

Thank you very much guys.... you make me sleep well
