I joined because I wanted to keep up with the 3DS scene and figured I'd get involved with the community here, since I came to this site for everything

While I am glad you're here and not there, it's hardly the "only" authority on such topics. There are several Reddit subreddits and Discord servers specializing in the various video game hacking scenes.
