Hardware what is this?

This fell out of my 3ds when I was replacing the screen and I cant figure what where it should go. My 3ds seems to work fine without it.

Can you post a bigger picture, and maybe from a few different angles, different sides of it? It looks like a button pad, but I can't tell much with a picture that small...

the texture is rubbery so it is probably some kinda button pad. I tested all the buttons on my 3ds and they all seem to work.

Bigger pictures really would help... it's hard to see much detail out of 180x135 pixels. Also what kind of 3DS? But yes it does look like an LED diffuser.

thx! thats it, I noticed the hole in the top screen

and that stuff is not hair, its just lint and dust. My camera is zoomed in all the way
