Hacking What happened to the SSBB exploit?

Since news of it emerged few weeks back with even a video demonstration, the actual thing is not out. It would be nice to have a more reliable alternative.

I don't suppose there will be a big N update for quite sometime. Anyway, if that's the case its a good counter-strategy. Nintendo fixes bannerbomb, and comex fixes nintendo.

Thing is, we don't *need* it right now. As of current, Bannerbomb works on all Wii consoles. Why shoot ourselves in the foot and release another exploit that can give Nintendo an early heads up for repair? Nope, keep it in the reserve bank until it is needed.

Last time I was in the IRC channel for it comex was busy with school and stuff and was sick and so wasn't really doing anything with it at the time. It'll be out when it's out.

As far as I can tell.. it's not possible for Nintendo to fix the SSBB exploit, other than updating the game disc. Even then, they can't correct the issue with the old Brawl discs.

The exploit will be released to our eyes when Bannerbomb gets patched.. it's not like it needs to be out now.

There's not really any reason for it to come out now. It's better to just wait until BannerBomb gets fixed before it's is released.

super mario glaxy exploit is for after brawls exploit gets patched duhh

agreed, no point in releasing it now, just wait until BannerBomb gets knocked out and then go with Brawl, and then when that gets knocked out go with Galaxy, and by then (which should be a long long way down the road...) there will probably be yet another one waiting in the wings...

Easy solution to Nintendo fixes.... don't upgrade. If it works ... why upgrade and break it.

even if they delete HBC, you can just use the SSBB exploit to install bootmii. Then we have full control, and there is nothing they can do.

It will be out when it is done and ready.
