Hacking what exactly causes dsi mode brick

does any body no what exactly causes dsi to bricK.......can ace kard cause this........and what in the ace kard does this and how to prevnt........

i was reading a post...so does bricking dsi mode mean u cant use ur dsi any more or does it mean u cant use it if ace kard is in it

It bricks your Ak2i, no one really knows why but your DSi will be fine.

Flashcards for the DSi are just the cards designed for DS & DS lite, with a different boot loader. Most of the rest is the same.
Therefore, Current DSi Flashcards DO NOT support DSi mode.

And as for a brick... there aren't any (yet) for the DSi, but there are two for the DS+lite.
You'd probably kill the OS/Firmware/Shovelware bit if you turned off in the middle of an update, or if you faked an update via an intranet. But thats just a guess. After all, I don't have one
