PS1/2 what else can u do or use your ps2 for ?

I'm asking cuz i really only use the thing to play games play games, cd's or dvd's (what its made for i know) but i wanna know what else can the ps2 do or what can u put on it ? curious

. Haven't tried the Emulators though. They WILL work since i have an explot installed on my memory card. I also have a Matrix Infinity Modchip v1.93. It's pretty much an entertainment system for me.

Right now I'm just using it to play PS1+2 games, maybe the occasional DVD. But I do want to softmod it if I ever find out how in terms I can understand. IE: Put this file on memory stick, play games. Anything more advanced than that and I get confused. Hence why I love my handheld systems for being so ludicrously easy to play pirate stuff on. Except my 3DS of course.

Once the thing is hacked, I have every intention of finally getting to the bottom of the Silent Bomber mystery. IE: the mystery of why every copy of the game I have ever owned has the same fault, a glitch that freezes the game after level 10's boss. I'm so close to the end...but I've never beaten the game. I'd also like to play Alundra, Legend of the Dragoon, FF9, etc. Granted, my PSP can do those as well, but it's always giving me problems. Freezes, glitches, lack of sound, etc.

I use mine as a doorstop.

I used to do that with broken PS1s. Until they were all stolen anyway.

I just use mine for games, most disc based, but I do have a silver 50000 with network adapter and hard drive for my imports. Already got enough games for it that I'm not going to bother with homebrew stuff. The only other thing I do with it is watch a Region 2 DVD I own with DVD Region X software since my regular DVD player is region locked.
