I'm new to all this so please bear with me. I was browsing some sites with NDS roms and next to game title it has all these codes and I've no clue what they mean.

(E) or (U) or (J) or (K) or (M3) (M6)...

Which one is right for me?

DS lite bought in US. I ordered an acekard 2 for it.

(E)=Europe, PAL regions
(U)=USA, NTSC regions
(J)=Japan, JAP regions
(K)=Korea, South Korean region

(M_)=Multilanguage. The number represents the amount of languages.

its just the region and language so since u live in the U.S u have to get (U) since it stands for usa
(E) is for eauopean
(J) is for japanese
(K) is for korean
thats all u really need to know

(E) = Europe

(U) = USA

(J) = Japan

(K) = Korea

(M3) = Multi 3 (3 languages)

(M6) = Multi 6 (6 languages)

Oh that makes sense. Thanks a lot! So will using a PAL (E) game mess up my DS or will I just not be able to understand the language? Is each DS coded to a region?

Region free.

Different regions won't mess you up. Minus not understanding some languages.
