Hacking What does "Bypass AntiPiracy" in options do?

Never had a flashcard with this feature, but it's probably comparable to the "download play fix" feature - it turns off most patches (soft reset, SD speed hacks, cheat engine, ...) to make the environment the game runs in closer to what would be an original game on a stock DS

...it bypasses antipiracy checks, duh. Keep if turned off unless a game does not boot. It is needed in some newer games like Pokemon White 2 and Call of Duty Black Ops to boot.

Except it's not (well, not that I bother to check Black Ops on the DS, but Black 2 certainly boots, so White 2 is presumably the same). I just want some documentation or explanation on what it actually does.

Well everything depends on what firmware and kind of flashcard you have. On my acekard 2 I need the ap patch to run pokemon white/black 2.
