What do you wake up to?

Anything that's on my mp3 player, always put it on shuffle before I go to sleep. This morning it was Skillet with One Day Too Late.

If that's the one that started going though my head after reading that, isn't that a depressing wake up call?

my most favorite + annoying is my dog licking my face, I wake up, see her tongue at centimeters range from my face, and her real long smile while she jumps as she wants to get out and pee

usually someone walking around the house heavy footed, shaking a fair few things in my room. otherwise birds and whatnot tweeting, i live in an area with loads of trees. so naturally a fair few birds flying around.

Normally, I wake up to silence.
Otherwise, I wake up to the sound of the television.

Second alarm is my phone with an annoying tone, but generally if I wake up to music I'll shut off my phone alarm.

I kinda feel pretty well when hearing them again afterwards(like this one), which I doubt would have the actually great effect it has now if I wouldnt have used it, or overused it as default for months.

The best to wake up to however will always be light from the sun rising

The ear-shattering beep that is my alarm clock.

I tried MP3's once. Suddenly jumping out of my skin at the intro to 3 Doors Down's "Going Down in Flames" is an experience I never want to repeat. On day 2 I thought I'd try something a bit calmer. Woke up to find I'd slept through half an hour of Final Fantasy soundtracks. And thus the MP3 alarm was no more.

I wake up to an infant, crying his ass off for food, usually around 4am but sometimes later. Funny thing is, I actually enjoy it!!
