Hacking what do you recommand me for blocking update?

do you recommand me to use dns? or block url with my router?
also, if i block those url with my router, how do i know i didnt messed up and it worked correctly?

I recommend blocking with your router, because it's annoying when those special DNS go down.

To ensure that you did everything right, you can try to install a game update, and if it fails you are blocking updates correctly.

You could probably also choose system update in system settings, but I'm not sure if it will fail if you are already on 5.5.1

It will look different on every router, for me it's in the parental controls tab.

Edit: For me it looks like this. I have it set to "disabled"right now, but if I use my wiiu I will change it to "enabled".

I know. I don't use my wiiu so much so it's not enabled right now.

And the blocked internet is set to "never" because that literally blocks all websites.

I personally still prefer a custom DNS address to block updates since for some reason blocking the URLs with the router blocks multiplayer for me when a DNS doesnt

I'm looking at it, kind of hard to figure out since it's not in English.

Blocking these urls doesn't affect multiplayer for me. From what I understand the custom DNS just blocks these same urls anyway.

On the Wii U what is DNS set to? It should be set to the IP number of your router to use router based blocking

I just checked to see what happens when I try to update the system, and it spits out an error.

Try to update in system settings. Don't worry, 5.5.1 is still the latest, so if your router isn't set up right you'll be fine.

Not sure if these are still the best ones to use, but these two will work

• Turn Auto-Obtain DNS OFF
• Set Primary DNS to 107.211.140.065 (Tubehax)
• Set Secondary DNS to 104.236.072.203 (chncdcksn hax)
