Firmware 10.0.27 didn't block it or Tubehax, those using the 9.9 entrypoint could still install ironhax. Smealum just had to add the firmware number for revision's sake (you can read the comments). Firmware 10.1 is where we needed a new payload.

They couldnt stop ironfall as it is essentially a digital cubic ninja but they did remove it from the eshop really quickly and patched it for good IIRC. Plus not too long afterwards they had browserhax and themehax to deal with, arguably bigger threats

All right, thanks for the clarification. I didn't remember exactly which version was the one where we needed the payload update.

I didn't mean stop entirely. I meant a temporary way of blocking it for those who upgraded.
