[This is my 250th post!]
In general plz not about a specific type
Make sure you have a good soldering skills
Get a card reader that's compatible
When you open up your console be very careful with the ribbons or flex
Don't get too excited (common cause of errors haha)
I am amateur, and have an experience of soldering.
Not sure whether I'll find one in India ;-;
Try to look for TRANSCEND RDP8, it's most likely available in your country.
It is thanks very much, but its expensive ;-;
Try looking at other stores, i got mine for around 12USD, and the same day my girlfriend got me one (forgot to tell her that i already have one) that she bought for 24USD. Wtf right?!haha
12 dollors might be nothing for you in USA, but Rs. 698 is very high in India
I'm in the Philippines brother
Go on ebay and order and anker, they are cheap as hell or amazon.
Not if you consider shipping and taxes
shippinh is free.....
Not everybody is in the us
and? you know it says 'free shipping world wide'... so unless you live on fcking pluto lol
Try living in our country, then you may say that
india is still part of the world... idc where you live in india, if it says free shipping worldwide, it will ship to you free no matter where you are.
To be honest I just got 2 in the mail by error on the warehouse, and they said to keep it. Was going to send to you free, but clearly your not even attempting to get it for yourself, so Ill just let you wait and find one on your own.
Not trying to be rude, but I really dislike people who come up with excuse after excuse. Good luck, Ive got to get back to my hard mod attempt lol.
I actually wasn't the one who needs the card reader, i am in the Philippines (just above your first comment in this thread)
I am well aware that you're not trying to be rude, and clearly you already have something in mind about the things going on around this site.
I appreciate that you're trying to help, but try to read the whole thread because i am actually doing the same thing.
Goodluck on your hardmodding, make sure you have a NAND backup first
I really thought you were OP lol. MAH BAD XD
Can you actually help me if I get on join.me
I am following a tutorial but the tutorials picture shows a samsung type chip as a reference point but my board doesnt have one, and the only pic they have of the data ports is the close ups, so I cant reference to anything else on the board. I just finished tinning all my wires and am ready to solder down to the board, I just need to know where.
i'd be glad to help you out, though you might want to make your own thread or send me a private message.
Okay i decided to check out join.me (i had no clue what it was before) PM me the details and setup a meeting.
Ya ill send you a message, trying to lay my son down to bed so hes not screaming while I do this.
Hahaha go for it
