Hacking What can I do with HFW 4.84?

I have a PS3 newer slim model. So it can't downgrade to the true cfw 3.55. I found this video:



I haven't done it yet. I wanna know what the benefits are. Can I backup my PS3 games and play them off the internal hard drive? Can I install and play PS2 games?

Have you run minverchk to double check your lowest FW version? If not do this first and double check you can't run Rebug CFW on it.

I've checked already. It's 3001. It's okay though. I got han installed. And ps3hen. I learned how to back my PS3 games up to the internal hard drive. Using multiman. But I'm having trouble with getting PS2 games to run.
