Hacking What am i doing wrong?

So i downloaded a scrubbed version of De blob to use with the wii backup loader.De blob is confirmed working on both loaders and I was told it doesnt matter if i use scrubbed games.So i installed the CIOS and Dvdx with the ios249 setting etc.I insert the patched disc and it recognises it on both loaders,gives the games code and stuff.Then some code runs down the screen i get a brief flash of green and the game says loading in the bottom left while the wii makes some weird noise.Is this normal because i left it for 5 mins and it still didnt load,am i just being impatient or am i doing something wrong.Oh and i used a pal version of the game on a pal wii,burnt at 2.4x speed.

think it may well be that youve have burnt it to slow try 4 or 8 speed.

yeah ive burnt it twice now once at 4x speed then at 2.4x speed (in the compatibility wiki it says to use 2.4x speed)

What DVD'S You using? DVD+R or DVD-R?

Yeah there fine, DVD+R do infact still work but some people have problems with +R Make sure your burning through IMGburn and before u burn u patch the iso with Backup-creator.exe (Waninkoko's)

Yup done that.Patched it then used IMGburn XD

I have indeed.DVDx advanced setting IOS249 right?

Correct.. the only thing i can think of is trying a different brand of DVD-R.

hmmmmmmmm both loaders actually recognse the disc and it brings up an in game loading screen.If i press the home button it brings up the icon saying i cant go back o the menu just yet.So it doesnt freeze but surely it shouldnt take 5mins + to load.Can anybody who has used de blob with either loader confirm this?

Ok then, its a bad ISO or not properly supported yet.

cant understand why people always say IMGBURN, when nero works perfectly i use nero 6.3.1 , to me its better than the newer versions for writing isos etc. anyway thats that.

i cant get it to work at all! i always get error with both loaders, i dont even get into the game, it just says error: identity failed. please help. i have wasted 5 dvds already

Its because Imgburn is free, And simple to use. Nero costs, Unless bundled with your drive.

For all we know, scrubbed games do not make problems.

And from what you described, you didn't make any mistakes and did everything correctly.

Trying a different brand of discs is indeed the only thing else you could try. The initial "Now Loading" screen of de Blob should not take more than 20 seconds.

im hoping it was just a bad ISO.Going to burn Geometry wars in a sec since thats supposed to run fine.
[EDIT]YES FINALLY!!!!! it took all day but i got geometry wars running perfectly,it seems de blob must have been a bad ISO or something.
