8 or 16 gigs?

Also if you can point me to trusted guide about choosing proper RAM chips, whatever of money.

There is barely any game supporting more RAM out of the box. In almost all games you need to edit executable to increase size of different allocations related to GPU to get advantage of it basically.

Each game does allocation in its own way so there is no "one for all" solution, you need to understand the code and you will see patterns.

Some games like Botw and totk are allocating the full 8gb of ram. And afaik most unity games also.
I Did a 8 gb mod these days for a customer.

GPU stuff is always preallocated. So even if game reserves more than 3285 MB, it doesn't mean it's using it effectively.
