Hacking Werid WAD glitch

So I installed a Genisis Emulator, and the WAD for it. I went ahead and tried to boot up the WAD (aka channel) And I get stuck on "loading dol..." And it never loads the dol file to boot it.

The Loader displays this:
FAT initialized!
Found boot.dol in /apps/genplusgx/folder on sd!
Memory allocated
Reading file file, please wait
[.....................]
Loading dol...

No the "file file" repeat is not a typo. Can I have some help please?

Was the Genesis emulator the full program or was it a forwarder? It sounds like it if says loading dol that maybe it's a forwarder and it's looking for the program on your SD card. You can try putting the emulator in your apps folder on your SD card and see if it loads up then.

The emulator is on there. It's just the WAD not working correctly

It loads the app fine in HBC but not on the WAD Forwarder. It looks for the dol then just stops...

You didn't mention which forwarder you're using but try the one FIX94 posted in this thread: https://gbatemp.net/threads/genesis-plus-gx-forwarder.307155/page-2

I used his WAD, and it worked. I tried Diddy's official one but that did not work so I'm guessing there was a different method of loading WAD's at the time. Thanks .
