Well, my first post wasn't in here, but my second sure is.
I've been lurking here loads to find out what flash-1 cart would be best, and I'ma get the CycloDS Evolution, because I think it's got some potential. I'ma get one of those spiffy Japanese 1GB microSD cards, for maximum speed.
Uhhh... I got my DS.. Yesterday. No games except a few GBA games (Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is hard

I love the touch screen aspect! I tried putting in a screen protector from one of those "Universal screen protectors that you cut out to put on the screen" except that didn't work all well.
I'd order the goods today, but it's a Sunday, so they won't ship. Ordering Monday. So I speculate I'll get my stuff Thursday or Friday, depending if they do deliveries July 4th. Might even be waiting until Saturday!
