Hacking We Ski NTSC-U -> Pal

Has anyone got this working with WiiFrii? My balance board comes today. I had my chip updated after Mario Galaxy and thought it was the end compatibility issues. Though in fairness there is no pal version and all I have had to do in the main is a region patch. My chip is openwii

i just removed the update and works on my pal console

if you worried about 001 error issue
just use GWP to remove the error

extract main.dol with trucha
patch with gwp for 001&region
reinsert
resign

ISO is NTSC with update payload and I have a PAL Wii and get 001 error though, surely I need to 001 patch

I did some testing with the NTSC version of We Skii yesterday, using Wiikey 1.9S and firmware 3.2E. After several failed attempts the following worked for me:

1. Remove the update with brickblocker, not the latest version.
2. Change the region from NTSC to PAL using the tool by Syndicate (http://gbatemp.net/index.php?download=722)

(I initially tried the reverse order, which merely yielded a non readable disc)

did it the hard way with trucha,gwp, patch main.dol,brickblock and regionfrii, now working, didnt buy wii board separate got it with original wii fit
