Has anyone seen this on the newsgroups yet ? IGN says it was released yesterday in the states ? anyone got it ? whats it like, looks fun

i can't wait for the release of this title... wish it let you use your mii... but still looks like great fun. can't wait to get the wiifit balance board next week (NA release) to use with this title. I'll be skiing all summer long!

Hi is anyone having problems with the NTSC-U version of We Ski?
I tried this on my NTSC-U machine (3.2U) with an openwii chip (2.40 firmware) The game shows in the channel screen but i get the "disc error please eject disc" message when i click start.

Any help would be appreciated.

I downloaded the NTSC scrubbed version of this game, used brickblocker on the extracted ISO, and it works perfectly on my D2B PAL Wii with WiiKey.
And yes, you can use your own Mii.
Gotta say, you look rather silly in your lounge room, standing on a Wii Balance Board and using the Nunchuck and Wiimote as "sticks" lol

Ah ok. Seems to be my shit chip then! Trying to get info out of the openwii group is like getting blood from a stone. I'm obviously not tech savvy enough. I think i'll get my chip replaced. Wiikey here i come!

Yes, i've burned a few copies. But i thought if it shows up in the channel (all the copies do) the burn would be ok? I had the same issue with Wii Fit, Ok it was PAL but people did get a patched version working on a NTSC-U machine. I've just posted on the Openwii forum and i hope someone can sort this out. The support for the chip seems to be waning so thats why i'm thinking about switching.
