I don't know if you can keep them with wit
but I doubt it

parts of the games were overwritten by other games
that data is irrevocably gone

the game might still work more or less
or not at all

deleting and reripping them would be wisest

if you want to keep them in their defect state
and wit can not do it you could move them to another hdd temporarily
or wait for the next wbfs2fat version

So, if I don't what to keep them, i just delete those games in my wbfs manager, and my wbfs partition will be OK for wbfs2fat?

Thank you

unless the manager zeroes out data while deleting you should be fine
the wbfs will still be corrupt (so don't copy more games to it before converting)
but wbfs2fat will work

but using wwt to delete them would be better since it will really fix the filesystem

I'll do that, thanks

So, now I've done "wwt VERIFY -all > log.txt" to keep a log of all the bad games, after that I'll have to do "wwt REMOVE [id]", right?

Thanks

wwt repair bould probably be better but it would work too

CODEwwt repair -all

CHECK /dev/sdb1

* Check for disc block errors.
* Check free blocks table.

* Summary of WBFS check: no errors found.

sorry don't know

if you don't get it to work simply delete the defect games
just don't add new ones before conversion

Sorry for bumping... But I've been using WBFS for a LONG time, and I just wanted to know, does this delete the files I already have on my WBFS Drive? I really don't want to have to rerip 5-6 games =/

Also, does it keep the games in their scrubbed, smaller size? I have all my games scrubbed in my WBFS drive...

Keeping the games is the one and only point of this.

Unscrubbed games (rare) stay unscrubbed
Scrubbed games stay scrubbed (impossible to undo anyway)

Games are stored as .wbfs files taking approximately the same space (see howto for details)

New version 0.7alpha2 with improved error 6 handling

wbfs2fat-0.7alpha2.tar.bz2

if you still suffer from this maybe give it a try
numerous cases were detected as corrupt when in fact they where not

verbosity 1 (gui: default, cli: -v) now give details about the affected games + blocks

option --ignore-error-6 allows you to manually override the emergency abort
blocks that are used multiple times are simply duplicated
note that this only fixes the filesystem itself
the affected games will still contain the potentially defect data

a gui checkbox for this is still missing but the option will work in both modes if given

beware of alpha status

edit:
0.7alpha contains major bug in --ignore-error-6
fixed in 0.7alpha2

PsyBlade, I'd like to invite you to post your tools on wiiflowiki.com, as well as anyone else who would like to post their applications there or contribute in any way. I have made a placeholder for wbfs2fat at http://www.wiiflowik...ioning/wbfs2fat . Even though it is wiiflowiki, we host everything that is on wiibrew already, as well as much more that is not allowed there. We even welcome guides and pages for other usbloaders and tools directly related to those loaders.

If you or anyone else would like to post your apps there, make an account and pm me.

Sorry I don't want to have to maintain multiple pages.
Or create accounts all over the net.

If you want to host more then the placeholder you can mirror my guide and/or the first post.
Both are available here on gbatemp and as a txt file in the download.
But you would have to update it yourself and provide a link to the original (see tutorial.txt/licence) .
If it helps you I could try to make the original versions that includes bbcode available to you.

Note that your wiki contains an error: its not GPL, atm it has its own custom licence

Thank you very much
It helped me.

to whoever voted that he lost his games:

please post here what happend, I'm confident that we can fix this

as the tutorial explains:
there is a automatic backup of the wbfs metadata
unless you used other programs to modify the data this backup can be used to restore the wbfs partition

please don't do anything with the drive until we spoke

edit:
not posting in the first place + not reacting to help offers: troll probably
with less the 1% of the people taking it it wasn't worth it anyway

I finally finished that gui option an released the new and improved version.

New in 0.7:
previous version were a bit overcautious in scanning WBFS for possible errors
please try again if you aborted because of "error 6"

additionally option "ignore-error-6" is now included to deal with actual errors
see error description in readme/first post

Nice. An update!
I may be using this tool in the near future to convert my usb drive.
Noob-friendly GUI included?

Thanks bro. :)

I finally had a chance to test this tool on a friend's disk which was still in wbfs format and it works great! :)
