My sons DS lite suddenly stopped working I went to reseat the battery just in case it had some how come loose and I noticed that there is one of those water sticker sensors inside of the battery compartment. This sticker has small red dots on it now, Is this indicating that it got wet or is it normally look like this ?

Right now the green light comes on for 2 secs then the bottom screen flashes for a millisecond and the unit turns off

red dots is normal. If it blends into one pink mess, that means it has gotten wet.

Your top screen is faulty, replace it and it should be fine.

The DS has a check before starting up, the bottom screen is OK (hence the flash) the top screen (or the cable which is attached to the screen is faulty)

The screen and cable are one unit and cost about $10 - $15 to buy

Thanks for the replies guys. Its still under warranty so I just wanted to know before I sent it into Nintendo .
