eh hello guys.
can i ask how to watch video with NDS?
i have downloaded the moonshell v.171 now what must i do?
or must i download new software?

thx 4 the reply GBU

Search for BatchDPG. Use that to convert your movies to .dpg files. Then, copy those to your card, and you can play them in moonshell.

Oh yeah, an be sure that you have codecs installed. I'm using the latest version of CCCP and it works without a problem.

hey what !!!!!!
do NDS use codecs too?
how to install it? only putting it in my micro SD or what?

what is the quality of the video?
is it good or bad??
is it as good as mp4 player/ipod video??

Your computer needs the codec, not the DS. If your computer cannot decode the file in the first place, it cannot convert it to DPG.

1. Install Moonshell by clicking on the installer.
2. Convert your videos to DPG with BatchDPG
3. Copy the converted DPG files over to your card.
4. Launch Moonshell
5. Select the video to play
6. Hit Select or tap the touchscreen in order to find the progress bar so you can seek to a specific spot.

Video quality depends on the settings you use for conversion as well as the quality of the source video file. It's never going to be perfect, but you can usually get fairly decent quality in a relatively low amount of space. If you want perfect quality, use the DSM format, but keep in mind the file sizes will be friggin huge.

The guide I use for video conversion can be found at http://www.scdev.org/forum/index.php?topic=11437.0
