Quick question but is there any significant difference with gpus gtx1060 and the rx480 cause they are the same price (on newegg) so it be good to know which is the better buy

Most reviews tend to put the RX480 slightly above the GTX 1060, but you have to find a good card for it to actually come out on top in practice. The one I linked is one that Jayztwocents rated very highly (check out his YouTube channel for more buying advice for GPUs)

Get a R9 Fury. Fits your budget, a bit power hungry but you can easily do 1440p and some serious light-medium 4K too.

I feel that no GTX 1060 or RX 480 is worth 300usd. Alternatively, you could save a little and get a GTX 1070 for 350 on a good day.

I might save up a bit more for it but most brands do seem expensive except xfx and nitro so out of those two which is better?and if i cant afford which one (gtx1060 and rx480) would be closer to r9 fury?

Get the Sapphire Nitro R9 Fury.
The RX480 and GTX 1060 are somewhat equal. So if you were to go for the RX480, choose either Sapphire or Powercolor Red Devil. For GTX 1060s, EVGA and MSI or even Gigabyte are just fine. Rx480s and GTX 1060s in the 240-270 dollar range is acceptable.
But you'd still get more band for the buck if you got the R9 Fury for under 300usd. But mind you, make sure you have a decent power supply if you get the Fury.
