I use an acekard2.1 and Akaio1.3 but to my shock and horror I managed to download and put a virus onto my DS.

The virus activated when I changed the skin to a skin called ????????. It is a really badly made skin with two not so hot girls on the upper and lower screen so I decided to change it back, when I tried this I got a purple background and red blocky writting which read guru meditation error. The same for games (excluding homebrew and homebrew software which worked but didn't save without crashing).

I fixed it by reinstalling the akaio software and removing the skin. I found the skin on the acekard skin list, I can't remember its name now of hand. It could have been in japanese characters....

As far as I am aware it has had no ill effect on my PC or any long term effect on my DS.

Anyone else encountered this virus and how was it able to affect my DS?

THERE IS NO VIRUS. Just an incompatible skin, probably old format or such.

Stop being paranoid and daft.

especially Nintendo because they only ever lower the price of games when they do a greatest hits/platinum hits/players choice re-release

@The Real Jdbye, and the HD collections released for 7th gen consoles too

but they don't seem to have done any of those for the switch yet and maybe never will

@The Real Jdbye, tbh the HD collections are more justified since they include more than just 1 game per copy

@SylverReZ I read that non-binary people identify as a blend of male and female. The point is i think i'm a blend of those and thus non binary
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Non-binary people are those who don't identify themselves exclusively as male or female.

I don't identify as anything, unless I need to get on a plane then I show ID

@SylverReZ, and thus that would make me non binary since i feel like a blend of both male and female

@Xdqwerty only time will tell, what/whom you are. At 14, its a bit early to "Define" yourself. :)
