Can someone explain to me what that does?

Real time save is saving the game using the the firmware any time during the game which is not using the real games save. Some flashcarts support it some do not.

I'm not sure if this is common knowledge, but I thought I'd mention it incase it helps. This game supposedly uses a new type of cartridge that does saving differently. It was mentioned in a recent Iwata Asks.

1. Get the ROM (Don't ask, use Google!)

2. Download the fix on this site: http://bbs.supercard.sc/attachment.php?aid...WlZdVVNb0hKRnJv

3. Put the ROM and the fix in the same folder.

4. Rename the ROM to cvn-mio.nds

5. Start the x.bat file and wait some seconds, and you should have a new ROM called cvn-mio-fixed.nds.

and when i go throught the steps, it creates a cvn-mio-fixed.nds but the file is 0kb... and nothing happens when i load it with v1.18 or ysmenu... Anyone help NONONO! SORRY! (can't be bothered to backspace

Write this on the original post please: Do not physically name it with the .nds at the end, just leave as cvn-mio ...
sorry if this is just a silly mistake from a N00bcake, but n00bcakes are a fact of life. Would you be able to update that please?

Mine's just fine when I put .nds at the end.... Though I can't test it since 1.18 can't play most of the games on my mom's or my R4s....... I have to use fricken YSmenu... XD

The fix works with CycloDS firmware 1.58B2, I can play the game, not the black screen.
But it doesn't save.
At least it has RTS

Weird i have both ysmenu and original firmware... when i want to open up ysmenu i select a 'rom' that then opens up the ysmenu, from the default R4 menu. Unlucky on the ysmenu thing for you

I dunno.
But for DIY I heard you had to wait for a firmware update AND it doesn't save, if that's why you were asking.

got it to work on my EZ flash Vi and i found a way to save (kinda) i put evry option on except downloadplay (was to lazy to find out wich one) and i use the L+R+A+B and then the save there ^^

edit: it doesn't save your games and stamps >.< just the status where you are in game

If you mess up, you will have to extract the contents from the .rar file again, since the patch deletes the arm7 file after using the x.bat.

If your file ends up with 0kb, you have done something wrong and will have to extract the patch again.

But anyway, i've been playing on R4... no problems, no extra AP apart from the problem with saving.
So since the R4 has basically been abandoned, i'll get an acekard. But why can't anyone take it upon themselves to update R4 firmware for the R4 company themselves? Or can no one be bothered...

Goddamn it... I wish it would work on YSMenu, since I really cant be bothered to take it out and replace it with 1.18 right now.

I tried using a savlib editor I found, and I got it to make a 4mb or 32mb sav for the game, BUT the 2 black screens are still there..

I guess I'll just have to wait and play my other games

EDIT: Also, i tried going to that fix link and I think it's broken...

I think its because YSmenu needs a new extinfo file or something, but I really have no idea.
