Why hasn't anyone tried Jap games? Everyone is talking about NTSC/PAL.

Maybe because this is an English forum?

If there is a JAP release that can be played by people who can't read japanese and isn't available in an English version, I'm sure someone would be willing.

well.....I tried one Piece Unlimited Adventure and Oneechanbara Revolution...

another guy tried One Piece Unlimited Cruise...

Can someone help me please?
I tried burning deBlob PAL ISO on a PAL wii at 4x burn speed with imgburn.
I used maxell dvd-r.
However when i boot this game up it goes past the disc verification bit and then i press A to boot up.
Then i am just left with a blue screen. Ive tried waiting but it still dont work. All i get is a 'No Signal' message on my screen.
I have other games working like top spin 3 and star wars tfu.
Any help please? Thanks.

Also the Verbatim DVDs i am using are also Injet Printables so i can print the original game disk artwork on them, after these have been printed on, is it safe to still use them in the wii? Like if it gets hot will the ink run all over the laser ect. ect.?

Thank you, now i can make labels and i dont have to worry about messing something up or having to write the name on the disk(i am a neat freak).

Hi Guys,

I havent seen any posts about this yet , so i said i would throw it up in case anyone was interested ... it may be posted and i may have missed it , if so apologies to anyone else who has already posted.

I have 2 Wii's - one is modded one is not. I had games backed up already for the modded wii so as not to damage the originals which is perfectly legal in my country.

Anyway , i realised that i needed the ISO file again in order to make a disc that would work on Waninkoko's software mod and since i didnt have the drives that could be used , nor did i have a large SD card for the wii, i decided to give the old fashion way a go.

I put a DVD-r game that i had already backed up and knew it was working on my modded wii into my laptop - i go IMGBurn and selected 'Create image file from disc' and saved it to my desktop at 2.4 speed.
I then had an ISO , i patched it for the other system and i burnt it again with ImgBurn at 3x and the game played perfectly.

So for anyone wondering if this will work , yes it will.

In brief :
If you have a backed up ISO for your modded wii, you can re-create the ISO, patch it, and reburn , and it will work on the Waninkoko's software loader.

Fye: Thanks again. Did you test with the Backup Launcher 0.1?
djtaz: I'll add that info to the Wiki, if you don't mind.

Please do Meowayne - i havent tried at any faster speeds , but i was being a bit cautious to start with ... throw my name in as well if u dont mind ... would be nice to see my name in lights for once

I have done it with PES2008 and Big Brain Academy and both worked prefectly so i assume its all round for them, if i have any issues ill update.

No Modder - DVDx is required for the games to load by the ISO loader - i tried it with a new SD card on my non modded wii and i got an error -6 when trying to load - re-installing it fixed the issue. I think theres a little on that in the wiki.
