How to make an SD Loader in 2 hours and half
    05/04/2009 by (Waninkoko)

    Ingredients:
    1. DIP Plugin (Waninkoko / WiiGator)
    2. Code SD / SDHC (svpe, obtained from libogc)
    3. IOS Toolkit (neimod)
    4. Module SD / SDHC (Waninkoko)
    5. SD Loader (Waninkoko)

    Journal of development:
    12 a.m. to 1 a.m. Development Module SD / SDHC for IOS.
3 pm - 3.30 pm: Changing DIP Plugin to read SD.
3.30 pm - 4 pm: Development of the first version of SD Loader.
8 pm - 8.30 pm: Correction of bugs and final testing.

    Result:

    Notes:
SD Loader This is a very simple and cumbersome. Fail to implement WBFS (about 10 minutes, more or less), DIP plug-in SD mode (15-20 minutes, it would have to rewrite a small piece of code) and implementation support in the way SD USB Loader (10 minutes).

At the moment I have no intention of publishing the SD Loader.

Thanks for helping to WiiGator a small problem in the code of SD / SDHC.

I think it's meant as a dark joke directed towards marcan's hackmii post criticizing waninkoko for taking 22 days to use available tools to make a usb loader.

The thing is that this was mented to came out before the USB loader [IMG], of course that now it is not usable at all, cause there will never exist a 1TB SDHC card...!!! [IMG]

But still, carrying a vast amount of games on a 32GB SDHC card would be neat. Easy to transport your games to a friends house, provided your friend has HBC installed. Throw the SDHC in your wallet. lol

I was just about to say the same. Waninkoko sure felt challenged by Marcan according to the wording of his post.

Right now usb loader is causing too many problems with usb drives...rather have a SD loader where the SD card is guarantee to work.

cant find the point either but well... only waninkoko knows... last time he send a video with hamster heroes loading from the wii itself and said "i wont dig much into this cause i dont find a real use for it" and the bastard surprised us all with usb loader like a week after.

i guess he must know what he is doing, and if he is working with wiigator... dude... i dont know... they could make a new console or sumthing, cause they are that badass.

login for the night... night all

Yes, but those won't be compatible with SDHC so the point is still moot.

Sounds like someone is butthurt from reading marcan's post. Big whoop, I hate seeing how people are bickering over who makes what and I hate it even more when they try to create even more backlash. Waninkoko needs to get over himself. Make something and shut up, there's no need to whine about how people are judging you, even if they are better coders than you'll ever be. But what can I expect from a guy who demonstrates something with Hamster Heroes?

I for one hope that Waninkoko will change his mind and release this bad boy, some of us dont have a spare hdd or flash drives compatible with the usb loader.

sd loader will tide me over quite nicely until the compatibility of the usb loader is better [IMG]

Indeed, sd card support is far better atm than the support for usb hard drives. Waninkoko, please release and make us feel good [IMG]
