Yes, if you change silent.wav (keep it named that though), it will put that sound in every channel.

Just be sure to make it the right KIND of wave (16 bit PCM)...

for the Title ID can it be something completely random numbers or letters?
It CAN, but keep it close to the channel/app name so you know what it is in AnyTitle Deleter.

Anyone with Vista issues - can you try changing the Wadder.exe file to run in XP compatability mode ?

Yuo can do that by right clicking it , going to properties - then compatability and set it to xp compatible.

see if it works like that

I think you're not seeing any channels posted because they're being posted in other threads. The Custom Channels thread had been booming since you released this. I made one for myself and have to admit I loved watching the script run. Channel worked fine of course, but I didn't keep it because it was just for test and wasn't very pretty. You can rest assured that your tool is greatly appreciated and being put to good use. Right now i rank your utility as a Top Ten homebrew release. After more thought, maybe top 5. At least maybe a top 5 when you get sound working right.

Ok.. so here is a suggestion that may work for some...

First of all,

1) Stop all other apps from running in the background.

2) Install the setupwadder.exe -AS ADMINISTRATOR
*** Vista try installing for other Windows system by right clicking on the installer and choosing
that option.

3)Check to see if you have all these files in the c:\WADder folder.

I have already talked to some of you that say that you have trouble unpacking and packlng wads with your system the old way... so it still uses the same process and more so it may be harder on your current system so that is why it may not be working for you.

4) When running the wadder application after installing and checking... still run this as the only
application running...none in background...so shutdown your browser, media player, torrent app, etc.

** Watch with your system monitor to see how it uses the system when in creation process.

I don't have to shut all these down to do it...but some systems just dont cooperate very well when they are running
alot of tasks... especially the ones that use a lot of resources..

Also, maybe try putting all the images and .dol in the WADder folder as well...just for the hell of it.

...Just trying to help..

icefireicefire can you remove the splash screen plz because it then block totaly on my ubuntu pc :/ and are you working on letting it type slower so that it works on vista

That won't work T-Hideki//...

I'll add a checkbox in the next release to disable splashscreen.

I'll also add a pause to hope for vista support.

Quick hack added to pause, hopefully works now on vista (not so sure it will though :|)

0.9.8 is uploading (I am getting so close to 1.0 that i should have to become unlazy and finish sound support

)

@All: Anyone with graphics skills that wants to make a better splash screen should make one and I will use it

.

So can we install over older versions or do we have to uninstall old versions before?

Any chance for a simple "remove sound from wad" function?

Thanks again for your efforts. Much appreciated!
