I wonder: what happens if you do the following?
1- Install a channel with a Wad installer
2- Back it up to a SD card, via the Wii menu
3- Uninstall the wad using Wad uninstaller
4- Restore the backup to the console
???

just tried it and once the wad uninstaller removes the ticket you cant copy it, the game obviously searches for the game ticket to stop you from hacking the game or something

There is no sense in arguing back and forth about the possibility of being banned from the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Nobody knows anything about that.

The only precedent as far as Nintendo banning anyone is on the DS, when people who used hacked Pokemon online got banned from using the online feature on that game.

1. Put two WAD files into my wad folder on the root of my SD card. title.wad and titlea.wad.

2. Ran the program.

The program reported both uninstalled successfully at the same time.

because you only can uninstall one VC game a time.

is it ok to just delete the game in the wii settings channel page? or do you have to use the wad uninstaller to delete them?

Trust me use the wad uninstaller.

The wad uninstaller will uninstall EVERYTHING, if you delete them via the wii method then there is still traces left.

You can remove multiple wads at a time, just put the wads for the games you want to delete in the "wad" folder and run the uninstaller. It'll remove them sequentially.

Are you sure? i thought only the INSTALLER could do that.

What do you name each wad then?

On windows (the OS) you can not name two files title.wad

Possitive. Name the wads whatever you want, I just use the game names. You haven't needed to use "title.wad" since v2 of the installer was released.

how about moving the VC games to the SD card, deleting the games from the Wii memory and then when you want to play them again copy them back over? is this possible or does DRM stop you from doing this?

reason i thought about this as it's the same game you are copying over and so on so it will have the same signature, right?

question: i installed mario 64 with the name "title.wad" after i installed it i renamed the original file mario 64 Wii pal, when i choose to uninstall this game will i have to revert the filename back to "title.wad" so that the uninstallation will work or can i have the file name as it is now?

It should uninstall fine with the altered filename. As far as I can tell WAD Unintaller uses the contents of the wad file to determine which files to remove, so filename is irrelevant.

Mhh you can copy the save game of the ripped vc game to the sd card and then delete the whole game on the wii. The ripped and unused vc games can be saved on your pc.
