Hi guys!

Writing here as this community simply proved to be the most active and willing to help, thank you for being awesome!

I have a modded WiiU (Haxchi) and want to install a .wad game.

I managed to install my first wii game by using a script that gives me a wup folder, but the script does not handle .wad

What is the easiest/safe way to achive that?

Thank you in advance!

Wad installer and .WAD is Wii/vWii

Thank you for you quick reply. I didn't get if I cannot perform such a thing on wiiu or if I need to go to vWii to do it (which I did, but haven't found any option to do so by the way).

it's outdated, but I suggest you browse this: https://gbatemp.net/threads/the-definitive-vwii-hacking-guide.425852/

it mentions how to hack the virtual wii, which can now be done on the wii u side. it doesn't mention that method, so skip to installing forwarders. yet another wad manager mod is the name of YAWMM. I don't know if you can get it from the homebrew store. it's easy enough to find though if you google. there may even be a link somewhere in that thread as it does mention the app.

Thanks! I was investigating a bit, and it seems that my wii channel is missing the homebrew channel, I ll have a look into it. Thanks again!
