wait a minute can this extract DLC wads? if so this can lead out to more stuff like Saved Games in WAD Format Gamesave WADS intresting if this is possible this can be really good.

yes id say, but you could always do this with normal methods

As far as I understand: being able to extract everything on your wii (channels, VC, IOS's etc.) as a WAD, then being able to share them with others or store them?

firstly it is WII based, not PC based like other wad packer

secondly it can pack an INDIVIDUAL title, no need to dump whole file system

Ooh this in conjunction with a wad installer might just be the ticket to the one incredibly minor gripe people have with 3.2 now the 4.0 copy thing is out ("but I have paid for vc/wiiware and dumping is too complex").

It doesn´t work for me.
I dumped the "Metroid Prime 3 Preview Channel" and deleted it, but when I want to install the dumped wad I get a "ret = -1022"

Tested it and works fine.

Also now i can easily make IOS Wads.
But i got a few questions:

First i got a random Title:

Name: Unknown Name
(Downloadable Content)
Title ID: 00010001-4E415250
Version: 0
Size: 41.17MB

When i want dump that i get an error ret -106.

Thats strange.
This thing is Majoras Mask (PAL).
But i dont have it on my Wii -> i copied to my SD Card.

I think its because the Title (.tmd) is still present in Nand.



Another i dont know:
Name: BC
ID: 00000001-00000100
Version: 5
Size: 0.02 MB

Dump works

Someone knows what that is?



Also dumping cIOS (249 and 250) makes an error (-1017).
But the Wad will be on the SD Card!
Checked it but it seems the Wad isnt okay (Wii Wad Data Info).



Another strange Channel:
Region Select

What is that?


Also the foto channel and news channel are 2 times on my wii.
But on my Wii Menu is just 1.
Can i uninstall the old Version?

Ah and i noticed a Channel called EULA. Can i uninstall that too?
