Hacking Vwii emulators and usb controller

This guy is asking if have a way to use usb controller with emulators. I belive his question deserve a place here too because wiiU dont even have gc ports. Emulators can be mod some way to support usb controller? Maybe a lib manual mod? I really dont know.

You'd have to modify the IOS to patch calls for GC port IO with your USB Driver for a system wide solution (which would be dangerous and I'm not sure how hard it would be. I don't have any experience with IOS so I'm honestly talking out of my element).

It would be more likely to recompile open source emulators with USB Lib support. Do you have a list of emulators that are open source which we could target?

Well it´s a start. At least now i know it is possible. But i dont have the skills.
