Homebrew Can you play VC or emulator games with USB controller?

Hello.

I know this is a crazy question but it came up in my mind.
Can you use a USB controller adapter for VC games? Or an emulator for that matter.

i don´t think so... but i think you can use a gamecube controler or adapter to gamecube controler (i have a ps2 to gamecube one here)

I think is a very good question and i will ask to you open this discussion in wiiU forum. If can, they will want and research this. Because wiiU dont have gc ports and it already works with nintendont. Maybe a lib can be added manualy.
