Is there a Voice Recording App for DS? I don't want to use DS organize. And is there a walkie talky app that lets you talk to people if your close to them or threw wifi.

There have been a few, but none of them record more than for a few seconds.

Sorry, I don't have Wi-Fi so I can't test right now. But, maybe you should try NitroTracker also, it has Voice Recording. I also came across this thing. http://www.fw211.com/article.asp?id=13

It let's you record at a better quality than DSO, but it's only a few seconds. And it does let you edit it.

WalkieTalkieDS uses local wifi so you don't have to have a wireless router for it to work.

DSLinux also supports recording from the microphone with a special command (don't quite remember which one it is, but the DSLinux Wiki would have the info).
