I just contacted @Smoker1 and asked if it's okay to merge the Shumno database into my repo. We havent seen Shumno sincde december last year so yeah.

My plan:

1. Write VitaCheat guides, I have started already
2. Clean some of the codes (remove invalid characters/values specially the modifier codes
3. Test some of the codes
4. Add all the recently posted cheats here with credits to the author's gbatemp username and the permalink as a secondary source.

Also a minor update.

Your post also reminded me of something. Wouldn't it be easier(if its even possable) to port the PS3 version of FFX/X-2 HD codes to the vita version since they're both based around the same game?

Your welcome, which ps3 codes are you referring to? artemis? if so I have no idea as they look like assembly codes to me and I have no idea how to convert those if thats even possible, I might delete FFX to download X-2 and see how many non pointer codes I can find

Most likely they're talking about Bruteforce codes, which is a save editing tool.
Should theoretically be doable. Despite being on different systems and one being for saves, the other for live cheating, once you find the offsets in Lost Dimension, using the Bruteforce codes will lead you in somewhat of the right direction for making VitaCheat codes.
The main difference being that the values are not dynamic in the save file vs in-game.
Since the save file structure should be basically the same, using FFX-2's Bruteforce codes as a basis should make save editing the Vita version pretty easy. It'd be pretty simple to port Bruteforce codes to, say, RinCheat.
Sadly, the more I mess with VitaCheat, and with the current lack of a really good knowledgebase like the PSP had, I'd actually recommend RinCheat over VitaCheat for a lot of games.
VitaCheat and cheat engines in general for the Vita are still in their fledgling stages, however. The longer Sony waits to patch out h-encore, the more likely that people who know more than we do and have kind of given up for the moment may regain their interest and provide a source for further learning.

I just renamed the file to .zip. RENAME IT TO PSV. THAT'S IT.

btw, does this cheat file not work for a maidump of D4? I activated the HL code, and it didn't go up?

Hi i need some help with getting cheats to work for odinsphere. So far i've tried to get the cheats to show up on both vitas, one on fw 3.60 on vita cheat 04z beta and a vita on 3.65 using vita cheat 05z. plugins are located in ur0 ( i have added the line ur0:vitacheat/vitacheat.skprx under Kernal), and vitacheat folder is located in ux0. the cheat.psv file is for the corresponding version for the game PCSE00899 US Odin Sphere (nonpdrm)

you will want to make sure there are no spaces where there shouldn't be, if it appears in game then it is setup correct but as for not working hmm, I will need to try it again as it works for me, maybe I typed something wrong here, will look and see

Edit: I'm using 3.60 with z05 of vitacheat, if you are on z04 it might be the issue but i'm not sure entirely

Alright I'm just assuming the PS3 had some kind of cheat program similar to cwcheats(PSP) or Gecko(Wii) that had some kind of code database to use as a refrence or something. I never owned a PS3(been too busy during that gen) so I don't know how everything works for it.
