So essentially there was an update to Vita DB to fix random things it may cause such as random freezing, and system shutdowns and i turned off my wifi, deleted VitaDB,
and there's now another issue, i rebuilt the database and now some of my apps are gone, one being the literal settings app, so i can't even use FTP, nor USB Transfer though my vita can charge.

i literally have no idea what i am supposed to do, and it's unfortunate how disastrous the last version was. any help is appreciated.

No need to delete VitaDB, just needed to update it.

Your other issue is unreleated to VitaDB, you deleted it, and it is just a userland app. Unfortunately, your description on the problem is not enough to pinpoint a possible cause of issue.

What other info should i provide?

Usually, posting your plugin setting, screenshot/picture of the issue (when possible), plugin-specific configuration when related, a more detailed descrition of the issue, etc.

By any chance you have more apps installed than the live area can show? When that happens and you rebuild the database, folder/group bubble information is lost and because the live area can only a limited number of apps, the rest is hidden. In that case, you can start creating folders (group bubbles) and putting as many apps inside it, freeing up space in the live area. Then you just need to restart and those free space will be taken by the hidden files. Reapeat untill no new bubbles shows up.

Here is my config.txt, as for the live area i am a bit confused is that supposed to prevent new bubbles from showing up or did you mean ones that needed to be restored i.e my settings bubble, etc.(essentially ones that vanished) I'm not sure if i can provide images at the moment unfortunately of the freezing and random shutdowns as it's seemingly random, i believe after rebuilding the database and installing the updated vita DB that may have fixed it, but i haven't played around with the console after the fact to really say for so that's on me.

On the flipside: i realized not being able to transfer with USB anymore isn't really an issue as i forgot using the SD is probably a more comfortable alternative anyway as the SD2Vita is mounted to the uxo:

To stop the freeze, comment the ux0:data/vitadb/vdb_daemon.suprx line (put a # in front of the line or remove the line)

You uninstalled vitaDB but didn't remove the data files and removed the vitaDB plugin from the config
