Gaming Virtue's Last Reward[3DS Demo] First Thoughts

It lags when scrolling in the room.
It only lagged when I used the circle pad, touch controls were fine which is what I used anyway when playing the demo. Retail versions are always better than the demos anyway as proven before by games like RE:R.

Also inverted touch control ftw!

I've tried it and I've loved it, I had never enjoyed a demo as much as I did with this one. The puzzles were quite challenging. However, I've noticed slowdowns when using the Circle Pad to point at things (the blue circle goes slower for a while), the camera controls are pretty much crappy and I even got a game freeze after scratching the poster with the coin. I was surprised there was a bug in a demo.

But overall it's a really good game, and I'm going to get it for Christmas :D

Yep xD Freeze+Lag both of them and at the same point lol

I still won't get it till they fix it.
I wanna freely save it whenever i want and at any place like on 999

One thing: if you never played 999 (the original game for the DS, this is the sequel) you might want to do that first. You'll be missing out on an amazing story otherwise. Oh, and the puzzles in the real game are harder. The demo was just Easy mode :P (although you can change to easy mode in the full game whenever you want as well, but you'll be missing some additional bits of story I think).

Not the "play 999 first" part. BTW, I had to scratch the poster twice as well (fucked up the first time, didn't realize the puzzle) but it didn't freeze...

It freezes if u leave and then try it again.
If you leave the room before then it won't.

Does anyone know if its confirmed the european version is getting patched on release or if they are working on it? Source please.

Also to clarify, if you save in any of the "escape" rooms, there is a chance the game will be corrupted. Deff ok to save in the "novel" parts of the game? Man... ill remember this for first time but i just know im gonna forget the 2nd time i come back to play this, bring back game testers who know what they are doing.

Yeah the novel parts are fine.

In semi related news, whose copy of the game was dispatched today? Gotta wait till Tuesday :(

Mine got dispatched thursday and was due on friday but didnt come till today, put several hours into it already and im liking it

Not going to spoil anything too big but im really not liking the way its handling the "endings" and having free access to the branching paths at any point is kinda anoying, im having to purposely avoid lookin at it to see which has more "story" boxes
