Sorry that this is probably a noobish question but, is it safe to play downloaded WADs of WiiWare games online? I remember reading a long time ago that it was detectable and Nintendo could do something about it. Is that the case?

This is true if you have 3.3 october update. if you dont your fine. just dont update. AT ALL! Just use the homenrew channel beta9 and the wad manager v3.
