Viewtiful Joe in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom!

"The list of characters in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom keeps getting better. At a Capcom event in Shinagawa three more fighters were revealed including Viewtiful Joe! Judging by this screenshot Joe appears to have his VFX powers too. Slow motion or hyper speed fighting would be an interesting twist, but would it give Joe too much of an advantage?

Saki Kanebou is also from the Capcom clan, but you may not recognize the name. She is from a quiz game called Quiz Nanairo Dreams and had a cameo in Marvel vs. Capcom 1 as a helper character. In Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Cross Generations of Heroes she’s upgraded to a main fighter and carries a huge gun.

Ippatsuman from the 1982 anime series in another newly Tatsunoko character, but Capcom didn’t reveal what kinds of moves he will have in the game."

Oh hell yes, this is really good news. I've always been a fan of the Capcom VS series, but the Capcom side of this one seemed to be lacking in people I actually care about. Glad to see that's no longer the case. And I actually recognize Saki from the first Marvel vs Capcom too. Thanks for the heads up!

Although I've never heard of this game, Viewtiful Joe is AWESOME! It's been a while since I've seen a Viewtiful Joe game.

I'm almost 100% that Speed Racer/Racer X have already been confirmed. (In fact, I think they were announced when the game was announced...)

Nah. We haven't heard anything Speed Racer being in at all. Wiki has the entire confirmed Roster list so far, which has the new three on it now. Speed Racer aint on it. I'm surprised though, and really do expect him to be added soon enough.

And I'm mixed on if an Eva would make it in. On one hand, Evangelion was a co-production and not just Tatsunoko so that's another hurdle to get over. But on the other hand, Capcom has a giant mech character that can't be teamed up with anything so it's only fair Tatsunoko gets one too.

It's a straight out fighter. There's no real story to it as far as I know. Mastery of the Japanese language won't be required, I can guarantee it.

Tatsunoko already has Gold Lightan as their giant mech character. He also can't be teamed with anybody.

Meh, atleast I have Yatterman.
