i need help. i have all things i need. i get an error saying i dont have a directshow source
wen i play it on media player wat does it mean?
i got it to work once but it never worked again

Batchdpg tries to decode video with directshow, you most likely do not have a directshow codec for the video you want or have not given it priority.

My advice download CCCP insurgent and use it to uninstall any codec packs you have before installing CCCP:
http://www.cccp-project.net/

Of all the tools:

DPGenc: moonshell bundled encoder, fairly good but not with the biggest range of input video uses FFmpeg and mencoder.

BatchDPG: directshow based, uses mencoder. Newer versions need .net to support bepipe and all require AVIsynth. It used to be a frontend but now is a tool in its own right.

EZBuilder: FFMPEG (at least for DPG parts) if memory serves and heavily relies on avisynth
Also does:
a. PSP MP4 AVC
b. PSP Unofficial PMP AVC
c. iPod Video MP4 AVC
d. GBA Play-yan MP4
e. moonshell DPG

@juggernaut911 I assume you used a newer version, in that case it probably made DPG3 video which may mess with the built in stuff found on some carts. Try and older version of batchDPG. Or just use a version of moonshell.

The transcoding would be good until it hit 100% and it will say audio conversion failure contact the maker thing. Does anyone know i how to fix this i have cccp and and tried to use the k-lite thing none work.

Do you have .net (at least 2.0) installed killer622?, bepipe which is crucial in making audio does not work without it.

Also what are you converting from?

How would I convert .MOV with multiple audio tracks with BatchDPG? I have a few animes that have both English and Japanese tracks, but how do I select which one I want to convert?

When setting up Moonshell, which ROM image do I check for M3DS Simply? There are two M3 with SD cards, but none specifies DS or Simply.

thx.

for 5.1 ch -> 2 ch ,configure following
1.Audio decoder configuration -> Mixer 2/0 - tereo
2.AC3Filter -> output 2/0 - tereo

It's also work in ezbuilder.

select clip sound track,it seems a software can do,I do't know name.

That's a stupid question. It's faster if you have a good CPU. On my PC and 3 passes, that would take about 3 hours

I readed some time ago a thread in the official english r4ds forums on how to update the build-in modified moonshell of r4 with the official moonshell 1.71. Unfortunately the forums are down and i can't open that thread. Anyone has any info on how to do this?

Btw, what is better to just install the official moonshell 1.71 as a "clean" setup or to update the build-in modified moonshell of r4ds?

Note: I actually ordered a M3 DS Simply and not a R4 DS but i guess it doesn't really matter.

Well, I've been using the built-in version of my M3 Simply without problems.

If you're happy with the results, then I guess there is no need to change.

I test just a while ago the moonshell included in the loader and suprised that i saw the 1.71 moonshell, so i will just use the moonshell that comes with M3 DS Simply. It's exactly the same thing as the official moonshell 1.71 the only difference is that you can launch it immediately & easy by just pressing "multimedia".

Thank god that they think wise and used the official moonshell in the loader instead of the modified moonshell that comes with the old M3 Slot-2 devices aswell the G6DS Real.

I just hope the G6 Team do the same with G6DS Real but they are really lazy lately...
