hey, if I listen to the sound carefully, I hear a lot of glitch in the video's sound..
I use ultra profile and 1 passes, 256x192, 20 frames/s...bitrate 386-512 resizer spline16
anybody know what causes that?

Do you have ADC, GOPskip, and dithering turned off in moonshell? (you have to open the global.ini and change the values for these to 0)

I have changed all of that to 0 now, but it's still sometimes have a glitch...like a 'tick' sound..well if you can't really hear that from the DS speaker..but you'll hear that clearly if you use earphones..and of course it's annoying..I dont think it came from the video..coz if I playback that video..the glitch would be on a different time...is that because the video lagged? or the framerate was too high? I use 20 for 4:3

Hey there!
I've been having some serious trouble with BatchDPG.
I stayed up until 6:00 AM just to try and fix the darn problem =[

I have: AviSynth v.2.5.8
Windows.NET Framework 3.0
BatchDPG v.1.3 beta 5
Moonshell(came with my R4)
ffdshow (newest version)
And a couple of videos I'd like decoded

Everything up-to-date in other words.

I've tried using both CCCP Filter Pack Codec, and K-Lite v.4.1.4. None of them worked.

Now, for the error message: "Conversion failed. Open "filename" in a media player and take note of the message.
This box will time out in 30 seconds"

I've tried different methods to make it work,
but it seems I'm a little over my head here.

I'm open for suggestions

I have this problem as well...
Can someone help, please?

alot of stuff and the: Horizontal sizes other than 256 pixels became unsupported.

Can sum1 plz help me?

When I load everything up, there's some red error message, but before I can read it, other stuff have loaded.

When I access my movies folder to run the vid, my light goes blinking like it's on standby.

How to fix?

Audio conversion failed. Make sure you've got the required codecs installed. This box will time out in 15 seconds. I get this message whenever i try to convert one of my videos. I think it's because they don't have sound and it skips the audio conversion altogether. Please help me, thanks in advance.

This is the exact problem I am having, I hope that someone figures out what is wrong.

I played the dpg fine on my computer though.

Guide has long since been outdated I believe. I haven't been in the scene for a while. If someone wants to take over, feel free to merge this thread with a new one or delete it completely.

The Moonshell link is down, but with the rise of Slot 1s with built-in DPG support, I don't think it is necessary to have it included.

Ummm.... any of you guys ever hear of DPGTOOLS? you dont need this AViSynth or anything. just drag and drop your video into it and it automatically converts pretty much any video file into .dpg.

Or am i missing something here?

Hi,
I've used BatchDPG before, but i had reinstall windows and start again.
My new batchDPG encodes everything (and takes half an hour doing it!) then once it's finished, says
"Could not encode audio, make sure you have all the audio codecs installed" and all i'm left with is the temporary file.
What codecs do i need?
cheers
