If you buy g6 lite only for gaming, it is not a big problem to get it.

btw.. does the pda and other functionalities take away some space in the 512MB offered to you?
if you only play games, can you simply just erase the PDA, supposedly someone said it took 1/6 of the entire capacity

Homebrew should work just as well. Essentially, any non-commerical applications will be run as a gameboy or DS program, so the language on the menus should have little to no bearing.

I might get a G6 Lite in China (physically) and this video shows that it's not too difficult to get the flashcart to function properly using just the Chinese firmware.

that wouldnt really matter would it? There are test trials, but the software is all the same, only the internal things may be different.

The laguage is different. Some of the trial versions can use English loaders, while the regular versions can't.
