Hacking Vi Screensaver?

Yeah, I tried creating the old .ini for Moonshell and putting in the command to stop the screen blanker, but it didn't have any effect. It doesn't bother me enough to spend a lot of time trying to figure it out, but it doesn't seem to be possible.

And you CAN change the picture for the blanker, the Amiga OS 4 skin I'm using has it's very own backdrop. Even the skins that come w/ the kernel have different backdrops. Or did you mean something else?

And before you ask me how, I haven't bothered making a skin for the EZ5 beyond converting some old 2.X skins (I also didn't create) to 3.X, so I have no idea. Ask the creators of skins w/o the standard Moonshell backdrop for the blanker how they did it.

If I am remembering things correctly, you might not have any way to turn off the screen saver, but changing the image should be possible (not just the image, but also the font too IIRC)...and I don't know if KidIce is referring to something completely different from what I'm thinking of or not (I've never heard blanker used as a term for screen saver, but it's not completely out there that it doesn't make sense).

I will ask for that feature. Do not promise they will make it, but i will try to make them understand it's a practical option. ;)
