I know that the AP on this game was crappy drops, and I did patch my game. However, I've done two Eternal Tower runs, and I have yet to find an Arkharz Soul. I'd just like confirmation that people with a patched PSZ have found Souls in the Tower/Paru. I could be, however, impatient. Thanks for your time.

I can confirm I've found 2 Arkharz souls on my first Tower run on normal mode.

Ah, sorry about posting in the wrong section. I saw the other topics about the AP on PSZ here, so I thought this would be the best place.

And thanks .Darky, that makes me feel better. Well, maybe not better because now I know it's my crappy luck, but at least the game works.

Well, I just finished my fourth run, and still no Arkharz Souls. Is this normal? Just to make sure, I downloaded the BAHAMUT dump, and got this patch: http://filetrip.net/f8673-Phantasy-Star-O-...-Patch-1-0.html. I also believe I patched it correctly, seeing as I now get weapon/grinder drops in the monster chests.

Should work, correct?

Should work, correct?

Your best bet is always a clean ROM.
Most current firmware will fix it on it's own, if not, use the AP bypass cheat code.

As for the chances of dropping... I've done about 10 runs since the game came out (only Normal) and haven't found one.
Why I stopped playing was the low drop rate of some items combined with the 101 floor Eternal Tower... it's just not fun to me.
