Apple Verbose boot on 3.1.3?

I see there's an option for verbose boot in redsn0w, but should I do it or will it mess up my whole boot? I've searched everyhere but can't find any videos on 3.1.3 using verbose boot.

I'd rather not restore, so does anyon know if it's safe to use?

(I have whited00r but that shouldn't affect anything)

It won't affect your iPod in general, except for how it boots. A bit after showing the Apple logo, the device will have white text fly by, describing everything that happens (like what file it just loaded).

I'm not too familiar with whited00r, but there is always a possibility that something can go wrong, so prepare for the worst, and hope for the best.
